On what grounds could you call those works of yours translations rather than excerpts?


2)Just like drivers are guided to the destination by road maps and guideposts, translators as well as readers are guided by titles and subtitles. Why get lost? Why incur mistranslation? The subtitle entitled "Too Much of a Good Thing" suggests the theme of a chapter that includes the above paragraph.


3)It's a kind of a crime as well as a bad habit that Korean translators have tended not to translate "difficult" parts. They are not ugly water pits which you are to step over. You must put your feet in them and walk on them. "The overstepped parts" mention inefficiency and side effects Wal-Mart has caused.
